N-DUBZ star TULISA CONTOSTAVLOS underwent a course of hypnotherapy to stop her squeezing spots on her face.
The singer suffered severe breakouts as a teenager and became obsessed with picking her pimples.
She eventually decided a drastic course of therapy was needed to change her behaviour - and she's pleased her bad habit didn't leave her with acne scars.
Contostavlos tells Britain's X Magazine, "I stopped doing it about six months ago. From the age of about 14, I used to spend hours in front of the mirror squeezing literally anything I could find. I could have the tiniest little blackhead and I'd attack it until it was bright red and my skin was all broken and damaged. I'm so lucky I don't have loads of scars.
"I had hypnotherapy. I was really sceptical about it working but it totally did. Now I'll only squeeze a spot if I really need to and then I'll put Savlon on afterwards to heal it. It's made such a dramatic difference to me. It's amazing."

So, who likes the snow?
Awaking early morning, looking out of the window, seeing flurries of little tiny white snowflakes drifting down and settling on a crisp white carpet.
Sounds like a scene from Raymond Briggs' 'The Snowman' doesn't it? And even though such a scene may be most welcome to some, making school children dash for their sledges, it can cement feelings of dread in other people.
The winter months start to tighten their grip on the people suffering from SAD. That's Seasonal Affective Disorder to the layman.
It is becoming better know nowadays through exposure in the media. It is a condition that effects many people, and as the days grow shorter and darker a feeling of bleakness and dread sets in.
Sometimes described as being sad or having the winter blues, this disorder detaches the sufferer from the joys and festive spirit usually associated with this time of the year. Unable to enjoy celebrating with family and friends the sufferers begin to feel an onset of hopelessness.
I know all of this sounds like doom and gloom - but there is a solution.
Hypnosis!
Through hypnosis one can learn to successfully manage stress and negative thought patterns while introducing a little positivity, motivation and general confidence. New outlook and hope will allow the sufferer to reframe their own views of this time of the year and start to be more optimistic, who knows they may even start to enjoy the seasonal changes.
If you'd like to know more about S.A.D. or any other symptom which hypnosis may be able to help you with - please visit my website or give me a call.
Wishing you all the seasonal best wishes

Hypnosis CDs
You are looking to make a positive change in your life and hypnosis is an option that can make it happen. We have all heard of the many success stories from people who have used hypnosis to change their lives and we feel a sense of excitement and curiosity, after all, what have we got to loose?
Hypnosis can produce unbelievable results and can play an important part in our personal development. There are however, a few unknown, common mistakes you need to avoid when choosing a hypnosis program to ensure you reap the greatest results possible.
Keep these 5 common mistakes at the forefront of your mind and you will save money, enjoy the process more and see greater, permanent results.
Read Unbiased Hypnosis Reviews
As simple as it may sound but you would be surprised how many people do not read hypnosis reviews before making a purchase. Every company will tell you they are no.1 and offer the best hypnosis products, so how can you find the real truth?
Unbiased, hypnosis user reviews are excellent for deciding whether a product or service will give you the results you desire before parting with your money.
It’s important to keep in mind that not one product or service will please 100% of people, which is a good thing as it is the basis for competition which results in greater value delivered to us, the users. However, reading truthful hypnosis reviews with unbiased user reviews will give you a sense as to whether this company or person is right for you.
It’s a very good habit to write honest user reviews yourself as not only will you be giving informative information to other potential buyers, the act of writing a review will clarify your thoughts on a particular product and allow you to move forward with greater understanding and clarity.
Know Exactly What You’re Looking to Improve
This is the biggest mistake that the majority of people make. Are you looking to loose weight or do you really suffer from low self confidence/self esteem?
Do you need more motivation or are you just lacking focus? Identifying the cause issue you are trying to solve is vital to your success. A commonality in many unsuccessful hypnosis cases is that they are simply using the wrong programs. Any well experienced hypnotist will first spend time identifying your core issues before they start the hypnosis process, be sure you do the same.
Choose a Credible Hypnosis Company/Hypnotist
There are many hypnosis companies/hypnotists out on the market, some are great and others not. Be sure to choose an established, credible company with a successful track record. This can often be done by spending some time browsing the company website, looking for user testimonials, company partners and also reading hypnosis reviews. The quality of your product is important and can dramatically change the results produced. Fortunately, there are many credible hypnosis companies on the internet, all with successful track records and high quality products.
Be sure to check out their money back guarantees. Before you make a purchase, understand what the guarantee is and what you would have to do to get your money back. By following the points above, having to send back your purchase will be unlikely however it pays to cover your back for the worst case scenario and will leave you with peace of mind.
Set an Implementation Plan
It’s astonishing how many people purchase a program, listen to it once or twice then claim the program doesn’t work – do not fall into this category. When buying a program, set out a full implementation plan to ensure you see the greatest results.
Commit to listening to your program once or twice a day, 4-7 days a week for 2-4 weeks, preferably at the same time each day. Do not listen to your program as and when, but set a full plan for up to a month, when you will stop and take note of the results.
Approaching hypnosis from this perspective will dramatically increase the results seen and will ensure you reap the full benefits.
Do Not Put All Your Eggs in One Basket
Its part of human nature to look for one big, sweeping change that will dramatically change everything, after all, why do you think so many people play the lottery?
For many of us, this will be our first time in using hypnosis as a tool for positive change and it’s easy to look upon it as the one solution to all our problems, but this is a very unhealthy perspective to have when choosing a suitable program.
Approach hypnosis as another powerful tool, in your tool box, that you’re using to make the changes you desire. This perspective settles our expectations, allows us to approach it with more light heartedness and inevitably produces more significant results.
Keeping these 5 common mistakes at the forefront of your mind when purchasing a hypnosis product will ensure you set off on the right foot and down the path of desired, positive change. Life is fun and approaching the change you want to make with a sense of light heartedness will immediately produce greater results – and you’ll have a better time along the way. Don’t see hypnosis as the be all solution to your challenge, see it as another method your experimenting with that can produce fantastic results.

28 Proven ways to Boost Your Stress
People are running around these days in what seems like an effort to carry around as much stress as humanly possible.
With this in mind I thought I’d allow Grey Matterz to hand out some time and energy saving tips for those wanting to stress out even more.
Have a read and see if it’s possible to hold onto any more stress than you already do…
• Be sure to expect much more than is possible.
• Demand perfection from everyone and everything around you.
• Be as miserable as possible when things go wrong.
• Worry about anything and everything…especially those things over which you have no control.
• Become inflexible. Demand that everyone do things your way.
• Don’t listen to other opinions or ideas. Dismiss them as irrelevant.
• Try to do twice as much as you can actually accomplish.
• Multi-task your multi-tasking. Fill your schedule and then try to fit in more things.
• Try to treat every matter as the most important thing in the world.
• Every minor thing should heighten your anger level.
• Completely abandon your sense of humour.
• Take things personally. Don’t wait for things to bother you.
• Go out and look for things that will annoy you and let them get under your skin.
• Any mistake or problem should be taken as a personal insult.
• Be cynical about the world.
• Look for events and situations that back up your view.
• Ignore any good news.
• Be pessimistic about other people’s motives.
• Be suspicious of everyone.
• Watch television, especially reality shows.
• Turn the volume up during commercials.
• Eat lots of junk food and drink soda.
• Abandon your ability to change and adapt to the world around you.
• Be rigid in your body and mind.
• Don’t allow anything to disturb your misery.
• Hold your breath, don’t exercise.
• Tighten your shoulder muscles and slouch.
• Frown, scowl and be sure to crease the lines your forehead.
PLEASE NOTE:
Please consult your personal physician before undertaking any stress-increasing activities.
IMPORTANT WARNING:
Failure to follow these guidelines can result in occasional bouts of peace, harmony, relaxati0n and a clear head.
You should be catching my drift by now… I hope.
